Terms of Use

1. The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period.
2. Driver Provision: Buja Rides will provide a professional driver for the vehicle at the renter’s expense unless the client specifically requests self-drive. In the case of self-drive, the renter must present a valid driver’s license and assumes full responsibility for the vehicle.
3. No off-road driving, racing, reckless driving, or illegal activities are permitted.
4. The renter agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition and with the same fuel level as received.
5. Travel Restriction: Vehicles are not permitted to leave Bujumbura without the prior written approval of a Buja Rides representative. Failure to obtain prior approval constitutes a breach of this Agreement and may result in immediate termination of the rental and forfeiture of applicable deposits.
6. Vehicle Tracking: The renter acknowledges and agrees that all Buja Rides vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking devices for security, theft prevention, vehicle recovery, fleet management, and verification of compliance with this Agreement. By signing this Agreement, the renter consents to the monitoring of the vehicle’s location during the rental period. Buja Rides will use tracking information only for legitimate business, operational, and legal purposes.
7. The renter shall immediately notify Buja Rides of any accident, theft, breakdown, or damage involving the vehicle.
